Begin Again

This sculpture installation is a reflection on loss and death, envisioned through the the fluctuation of life within nature. I wanted to embody the flowing energy within all living things and reflect the interdependence between human and non-human species. It is my goal to engage in a more reciprocal relationship with the land, thus it was crucial I did not interfere with nature and only used found organic or recycled materials. Our existence, however brief, is meaningful, and has the capacity to make room for new life, letting the cycle begin again.
