Bend & Break

In this large-scale painting, I experiment with different materials, techniques and compositional strategies to solve the square frame. The design is made up of organic shapes and geometric forms that connect and spiral in on each other. The result is an abstract retelling of how quickly a moment changes. In this instance, the split-second it took for newly-purchased ceramic bowls to become a pile of shards on the sidewalk.
